Claims and Resolution
At Moving Hub we understand that moving is a major life event, and protecting your belongings is important to us. While we take every precaution to handle items safely and professionally, we also provide a clear claims process in the rare event that loss or damage occurs during transportation.

Reporting a Claim
If you believe an item was lost or damaged during your move, please notify us as soon as possible.
To begin the claims process, please provide:
- Your order or job number
- Full name and contact information
- Pickup and delivery addresses
- Description of the item(s)
- Photos of any visible damage
- Supporting documents or repair estimates (if available)
Claims may be submitted by email along with all supporting documentation for review by our Claims Department.
Important Information
- Damage should be noted at the time of delivery whenever possible.
- Claims should be submitted promptly after delivery.
- Compensation is based on the valuation coverage selected prior to transportation.
- Standard valuation coverage is limited to Released Value Protection unless additional coverage was purchased.
- Normal wear from transportation, items packed by the owner, mechanical/electronic malfunction, and pre-existing damage may not qualify for reimbursement.
Resolution Process
Once a claim is received
- Our Claims Department will review all submitted documentation.
- Additional information may be requested if necessary.
- Repair, replacement, or compensation may be offered depending on the circumstances and valuation coverage selected.
Resolution timelines may vary depending on claim complexity.
